Usher Board

The mission of the Mercy Seat Combined Usher Board is to promote the worship of God. The ushers’ primary responsibility is to welcome the members and visitors to the Church and to help the Pastor ensure that the service is a success. The members of the usher board always meet worshipers with a pleasant smile and a warm welcome while directing them to their seats. In addition, the ushers ensure order during the Church service.

Music

The Mercy Seat Choir’s main purpose is to set the tone for worshipping and glorifying the Lord through song and praise. The various choirs spread the Word through their songs of Zion not only in the church but throughout the community as they accompany the Pastor to various speaking engagements.

Home Mission Circle

Members of the Home Mission Circle are Ambassadors of Christ. They pride themselves on 1st Corinthians 15:58 which states: “Stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves full to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord in not in vain.” Members of the Home Mission Circle display a pattern of good works in fulfilling a variety of duties in adhering to the doctrine and teachings of the Church and in obedience to the Pastor. They often visit the sick and elderly, provide culinary services for church events and willingly participate and provide support for other church programs and activities.
