Pastor Morgan was born in Blackstone, Virginia. She’s the daughter of Clara Willingham. Pastor Morgan was raised by her grandparents. She was baptized by Pastor William Ghee at the age of 10 years old and she became a member of Mt. Zion RZUA Church in Blackstone, VA.

Pastor Morgan graduated from the Luther H. Foster High School 1965. She was called by God to teach and preach His Word while she was attending high school. It was predicted in her class year book that she would teach Theology.

To further her knowledge on how to teach God’s WORD, she took a class offered through Liberty University, titled “The Method of Teaching the Bible.” She took classes offered through “RHEMA Correspondence Bible School” and “The Ambassador College Bible Correspondence Course”.

She has been happily married to Trustee Gilbert Morgan for 60 years. God has blessed them with one grandson Tre’, a graduate of Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA.

Pastor Morgan retired from the Nottoway County Public school system in 2010. She worked there for 32 years.

She was licensed to preach at Mt. Zion RZUA Church under the leadership of her Pastor, Rev. Lawrence Hawkins in March 1995.
She served as associate Pastor at her home Church. In August 1997, she was ordained under the leadership of the Right Reverend George H. Studivant, Presiding Bishop. In November 2002, Bishop Studivant gave her the charge to Pastor her first Church, Union RZUA in Brodnax, Virginia. She served there until August 2018 (15 years and 8 months). In August 2018, under the leadership of the Right Reverend John L. Ghee, Presiding Bishop, she was given the charge to Pastor Mercy Seat RZUA Church in, Warfield, VA.

Pastor Morgan serves as the Vice President of the Ministerial Conference. Under the leadership of the Right Reverend John L. Ghee, Presiding Bishop, she was one of the first women along with three other women appointed to serve on the General Executive Board. She also serves on the Holy Order’s Committee and as the Lead Person for the serving of Communion.

Pastor Morgan loves writing plays. One of her plays out of many that’s well known is, “What’s so Special about Christmas.” With God’s help and the Holy Spirit, she’s in the process of writing a book.

Pastor Morgan loves preaching and teaching God’s Holy Word. Whenever she’s a guest preacher, she’s always introduced as a teaching preacher. Pastor Morgan loves the Lord and gives Him all honor and praise, and glorifies His name.
